Dulap Wilim Hub
The Dulap Wilim Hub is a wonderful new facility funded by the State Government and shared between Sunbury Heights, Sunbury Downs and the wider City of Hume community.
Dulap Wilim is a Woi-wurrung word meaning ; “Proud Place” and the new facility is certainly one to be proud of.
The Hub situated at the Leichardt St entrance to Sunbury Heights Primary School and Sunbury Downs College, will provide a new modern facility to accommodate both school and community programs. It is a place for learning, connecting and strengthening community. The Hub will be fully operational in 2021.
During school hours some of the activities, programs, workshops and services provided will include
Playgroups
Breakfast Programs
Training and Education Courses
Volunteer and Employment Pathways
Parent Support Programs
Transition to school and kindergarten
Allied Health Services
Outside school operating hours the Hub includes facilities available for community use and hire.
The Hub facilities include:
· Flexible multi-purpose meeting spaces to accommodate groups of 20-120 persons.
· Small meeting spaces and consulting/interview rooms;
· Commercial kitchen offering space for training and to support culturally themed events and activities
